New CPA Standards no longer “new”

Every business in Canada should be using updated, CPA (Canadian Payments Association) compliant cheque systems by now. If your organization is not compliant, you may begin to see charges against your bank account for processing outdated documents.

The CPA has extended the “grace period” until September 2nd, 2008. This was the final, “official” allowance for non-compliance with new cheque standards. This is good news, especially since the CPA (Canadian Bank’s policy body) have done nothing to communicate this compliance issue to the general public or Canadian businesses!

It is way past the time to act. I had several new clients last year who were still using “old, non-compliant cheques”. Consider your company needs carefully & order your cheques accordingly. CCG is committed to making your transition seamless.

Hello web visitors. I will be using this blog as a means of adding real value to being our clients.

My primary intention is to share and discuss evolving events that impact buyers within the Label, Print & Promotional sectors.
